Location

DCRA Headquarters is located west of Ottawa, Ontario, near Shirley Bay, on the south shore of the Ottawa River.

Directions

Coming from Hwy 401 or Hwy 416:

Take Hwy 416 (locally known as The Veterans Highway) north from Prescott, Ontario.
Hwy 416 ends at its intersection with Hwy 417 (locally known as The Queensway).
Turn left (west) on Hwy 417, towards Kanata.

Continue as described below.

Coming from Hwy 417:

Take Hwy 417 (known locally as The Queensway) to interchange No. 134 and exit on Moodie Drive north (County Rd 59).
Turn left (west) at the intersection of Carling Avenue (County Rd 38). Note: This is the only major intersection on Moodie Drive; the Nortel Networks complex will be on your left.

Turn right (north) on Rifle Road (formerly known as Range Road). Note: There is no traffic light or stop sign on Carling Avenue.

Turn left (west) at the end of Rifle Road (it is marked with a 'Sharp Left Turn' sign) and enter the Connaught Range and Primary Training Centre (CRPTC) grounds.

Directions

Coming from Rifle Road (formerly known as Range Road):

At the north end of Rifle Road, turn left (west) and enter the Connaught Range and Primary Training Centre (CRPTC) grounds. CRPTC is a Department of National Defence facility.

Note: The initial road, Shirley Boulevard, becomes Malibar Street.

Turn right (north) on Bren Gun Road.

Bren Gun Rd ends at the intersection with Shirley Boulevard.

DCRA Headquarters are located at 45 Shirley Boulevard, at the intersection of Bren Gun Road and Shirley Boulevard.
